December Food For Thought — Rance Schreibvogel, "Invasive Species Information"

December Food For Thought — Rance Schreibvogel, "Invasive Species Information"

Rance Schreibvogel was an invasive ecologist for Yellowstone National Park for several years before turning to the education side of things. Now, while he teaches high school science in Holcomb, KS, he hasn't given up his passion for invasive species. He travels the country for his YouTube channel, Invasive Brews, to study the effects of different invasive species and interview the professionals who work with them. He has been to Kentucky Lake to study the invasive carp issue with commercial fishermen, the Everglades to hunt burmese python, scuba diving in search of invasive Lionfish, and much more. Invasive species aren't a widely known issue, which is why Rance tries to spread awareness about them and just how they affect our daily lives.

Join us at November's Food For Thought for Rance's presentation, "Invasive Species Information", and enjoy a free lunch while you learn!
