The community is invited to this educational forum, hosted by the Amarillo League of Women Voters, where we will attemp to answer questions that residents might have regarding the upcoming ballot measures in Amarillo, including the Amarillo City Charter amendments, as well as the proposed "Sanctuary City for the Unborn" ordinance. Panelists have been instructed to provide factual information about how these issues might impact the lives of Amarillo residents should they pass, and audience questions will be encouraged. Please note that this is NOT a debate; it's a moderated panel discussion by citizens in aid of informing the general public about the various pros/cons of the different items that will appear on the ballot in Oct./Nov.

Note: While the Amarillo League of Women Voters has a stated position on their opposition to the ordinance (as it restricts a woman's right to choose), that positon is not relevant to the goal of this forum.
