Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo is revving up for an action-packed day July 9, 2022, with the Jungle Run VII Auto Show taking place on the West Green of beautiful Lee Richardson Zoo. All make/model vehicles are welcome. Lee Richardson Zoo will open at 8 a.m. for pedestrians and drive through traffic with no early admittance. Vehicle registration begins at 8 am at the gazebo on the West Green. Voting will start at 11 am with an awards presentation at 2 pm. Pre-registration is just $25 through 5 pm on July 8th or $30 the day of the show.
The day will include free prize drawings and giveaways. Dash plaques and goodie bags will be given out to first 75 entries. Participant judged awards will be awarded to the best car (3), best truck, best motorcycle, best off-road, best unrestored, best in show, "Monster Muscle" sponsored by Monster Energy and the best "Classic" vehicle sponsored by Coca-Cola. Spectators will choose the People's Choice award and the King of the Jungle award is chosen by Zoo staff. Three "fun" award categories are being added this year and will be announced at the start of the show. Participants and spectators will have plenty to see and at do at the Zoo that day including the FCHM Flea Market and various food vendors on sight.

Also, that day, the 13th Annual FCHM Flea Market. A day full of antiques, collectibles, art, and crafts. The day also offers several types of take-home and ready-to-eat foods. A giant garage sale of gently used merchandise will be spread across the museum's outdoor patio. Time: 8 am-2 pm. Access through the Ben Grimsley arches at the front of the zoo.
