Hyway 14 began in March 2021 in south-central Kansas. Two brothers, with a passion for music and the rock classics, started by covering artists from ‘90s rock and red-dirt country. Living on a farm along Highway 14, they began traveling the familiar road to play music with friends, and pretty soon it sounded like a good band name. The music quickly drew them into writing their own songs. They combine their wide variety of favorite genres together to create a one-of-a-kind sound in their original music: a mix of country, rock, and grunge. In the last year, they have continued to grow in song-writing and performing. They've had a blast playing local events and venues across the state. In March, 2022, they released their debut EP, Here I Go. In October, they released their first full album: Construction Paper Town. Now they keep making music. Playing whenever they can. And enjoying the ride.
