The Freedom in the 806 Coalition against Trafficking is hosting our second annual True Story Event, which is an art exhibition where we invite artists to use various art mediums to show the true narrative of what human trafficking actually looks like, rather than the sensationalized imagery used by mainstream media. Often there are chains and cages used to depict trafficking victims being held hostage, when in reality, coercion and manipulation are much more frequently used as means of control. Come out to Starlight Ranch to see the exhibit with professional, student, and survivor art as well as a live mural done by Blank Spaces Mural Group. There will be a taco truck and light refreshments, as well as speakers throughout the event. We hope to see you there!
