TX Panhandle Local Food Summit
The summit aims to promote the growth and sustainability of local food production in the Texas Panhandle. By participating in the event, attendees will contribute to a more resilient economy, foster shared stewardship of natural resources, and promote community empowerment. The schedule includes sessions on food production, resource management, brand building, soil health, and tools to support local food production. Highlights include talks by Rick Wieners of Wiener Family Gardens, Joshua Davis of JC Acres, and Sarah Burnett of Texas Earth, among others. Lunch will be catered by OC using locally sourced ingredients.
