KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR Mix service or HPPR Connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Thanksgiving Maps Show Celebration Differences

Not every one celebrates Thanksgiving the same.  Recently, eBay’s Deals Blog released a series of maps showing the differences across the United States.

The Midwest and Southwest appear to drink the most, while Idaho, the Texas Panhandle, and Maine abstain according to Business Insider.   Almost everyone in the country says what they are thankful for, except the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles.  As to what time people sit down to eat, from Montana to New Mexico, dinner starts in the evening around six, and the rest of the country is a little later.

The eBay survey sample was 13,000 people, using a variety of online survey tools.  None of the surveys were on the eBay site.
