KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. Mark your calendars for an important pair of upcoming political debates, and they're both airing this month on the HPPR Network.

At 7 p.m. CST tomorrow, HPPR Connect, High Plains Public Radio's news and information service, will re-broadcast tonight’sdebate between U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R?Houston) and U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D?El Paso). The debate can be heard in the Amarillo area on 94.9-FM, and it'sstreaming everywhere else on our website.

On Thursday, Oct. 25, High Plains Public Radio will air a live debate among the many candidates for governor of Kansas.It's scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CST from the Clifford Hope Auditorium in Garden City.
