Doctors will be able to communicate with children via a sophisticated form of video chat. However, the visits will only be available to children enrolled in Medicaid. The law’s advocates insists children shouldn’t have to miss school to get routine health care. Another benefit: Parents won’t have to take off work to shuttle kids to the doctor.
