KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

After positive E Coli test, thousands of pounds of beef recalled in Texas

foodsafetynews.com

Almost 75,000 pounds of beef products have been pulled from store shelves in Texas, reports KFDA.

The recall occurred after reports of E Coli in boneless beef products were received from Waco’s H & B Packing.

The company says the recall includes items in 60 lb. boxes and multiple combo bins. The recall was initiated after the State of Texas’s Meat Safety Assurance Unit Food Safety and Inspection Service found a positive E Coli sample and notified the Food Safety and Inspection Service. It appears the regulators caught the problem in time, as there have not been any reports of E Coli illness or death.

The possibly tainted items ca be found in cases with codes reading 69029, with a production date of 3/6/17. The mark of inspection on the questionable items will also read "EST. M13054."

If it turns out you’ve purchased these products, do not to use them. Instead, they should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
