Indian Diaspora Looks For Ways To Help With India's COVID-19 Crisis

In India so far, more than 6 million cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the month of April alone. It can be hard watching a family member struggle with illness, or even die, while you’re thousands of miles away.

But that’s what’s happening to Indian Americans who live in the U.S. — including the estimated 75,000 Indian Americans who live in the greater Seattle area.

Joshua McNichols with member station KUOW spoke with some of them.
