KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. Don't miss the latest episode of Classical Music Amarillo, the new regional music program on HPPR, hosted by Stephen Johnson. Showcasing the talent of the classical music community in the Yellow City, new shows air on Sundays at 12p CT; an encore presentation can be heard on Thursday night at 7p CT.

It's a special event! Chamber Music Amarillo's annual “Concerto Extraordinaire” has become a classical music tradition, and this week we'll hear some of the great performances from 2007 and 2008 featuring Michael Palmer, conductor, and the Amarillo Virtuosi orchestra. Soloists include Julianne Gearhart, soprano, and Eric Barry, tenor.
