This summer Classical Music Amarillo is excited to present three month-long summer series. In June you can look forward to hearing programs of chamber music. In July, we will listen to concertos, and our August programs will feature symphonic compositions.
Tune in this week as we begin our month of chamber music programming with recordings by the faculty of the School of Music at West Texas A&M University! On the first half of the show we will revisit a WT Faculty performance of Gabriel Fauré's Piano Quartet No. 1 in C minor featuring WT violinist Evgeny Zvonnikov and WT cellist Manny Lopez accompanied by guests pianist Daniel del Pino and violist Marian Herrero. The second half of the show will feature WT piano professor Dr. Choong-ha Nam and guest Dr. Sunghwan Kim performing Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Suite for Two Pianos, No. 2, Op. 17.
