Adobe Creek Reservoir in Bent and Kiowa counties has been a favorite location of southeastern Coloradans to fish, camp, rest and relax for decades. On June 24, Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced it was closing access to the spot beloved by many including Lincoln County Commissioner Wayne Ewing, who says the closure will force him and his wife to seek out lakes and reservoirs in other states.
