As President Trump marks one year back in office, his EPA has proposed rolling back key air and climate protections, which experts say has already begun to strain Texas's air quality and public health.

Senate Bill 1150, which is on its way to Gov. Greg Abbott, is a rare example of the Texas Legislature regulating the state’s oil and gas industry.

The state task force would analyze petroleum theft and recommend policy improvements to curb rising oilfield theft. The bill now heads to Gov. Greg Abbott's desk for approval.
