The new exhibit at the Coronado Museum and Dorothy’s House in Liberal, Kansas, is drawing a good deal of attention. The show consists of art and artifacts from the Rash family collection, reports Amarillo.com and the Leader & Times. It features original Native American art pieces along with several Cowboy Artist of America selections and bronze sculptures. In addition, visitors will see Native American paintings, blankets and pottery.
After seeing a piece of art by William Acheff in Taos many years ago, Don Rash and his wife Priscilla decided to purchase one piece of art per year to give back to the Liberal community.
The exhibit can be viewed until Jan. first.
