KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR Mix service or HPPR Connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Shortly following Monday's announcement, Republican Sen. Jerry Moran praised federal judge Brett Kavanaugh’s legal experience and says he’s “well qualified” for the job.

Moran said he plans to meet with Kavanaugh to discuss his interpretation of the law, and to make sure he will be a “steadfast defender” of the Constitution.

Fellow Republican Sen. Pat Roberts said in a tweet that he looks forward to the Senate’s review of Kavanaugh’s record. Roberts said he’s hoping for a fair confirmation process.

Trump on Monday night named Kavanaugh as his nominee to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, who is retiring at the end of the month. Kavanaugh will need to be confirmed by the Senate.
