Below are results for statewide races and Texas Legislature elections in Central Texas, courtesy of The Texas Tribune.

In the race for chief justice of the Third Court of Appeals, unofficial results from the Texas secretary of state's website show Democrat Darlene Byrne with 704,162 votes (52.17%) and incumbent Republican Jeff Rose with 645,543 votes (47.83%).
