Calling all artists! High Plains Public Radio wants YOU and your talent to participate in an upcoming art show at an Amarillo gallery.
It's called "POSTCARDS FROM THE HIGH PLAINS," and it's a juried exhibition by The Cerulean Gallery and High Plains Public Radio (HPPR) open to artists from Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska.
This exhibition is part of the year-long celebration of "This is HPPR LAND"–the shared community of the five states that make up the High Plains Public Radio listening area.
***Send completed submission form and image files to Kay Kennedy via email. Please include your artist's statement of 300 words or less for the Gallery Guide. Submissions will be juried by Caroline Kneese, Owner, The Cerulean Gallery.
Eligible Work: Artists are invited to submit up to three works in any medium (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, photography, collage) on any ground (paper, canvas, metal, wood, etc.) in any style–traditional to abstract. Specifications: Image size must be consistent with standard post card sizes—no smaller than 4" x 6" and no larger than 6" x 11".
Artists have the option to frame their artwork. Framed size is not restricted. Selected pieces need to be dry and ready to hang. The gallery reserves the right to reject poorly presented pieces. There is no fee to participate. Artwork is a donation to High Plains Public Radio. Selected Artists will be featured on High Plains Public Radio on-air, on our website, promoted on social media, and included in the two-month exhibition at The Cerulean Gallery.
