Sadie's Rangers to perform in HPPR's Living Room Concert series

Amarillo's Sadie's Rangers are coming back to HPPR's Living Room Concert series on Friday, February 21!  This show will be at the Fibonacci, the home of Chamber Music Amarillo, located at 3306 SW 6th Ave.  The doors will open at 7:00, and the show will start at 7:30.  The last time that the Rangers played for HPPR,  we had a full house, so we suggest making a reservation!  Call us at 806-367-9088 or send and e-mail to music@hppr.org.  Don't miss it!About Sadie's Rangers

Sadie's Rangers were born in the backyard of Ronnie Fleming (mandocello and vocals). What began as a few good friends sharing their songs with each other over wine soon became a regular weekly event featuring an ever growing pool of talented musicians and songwriters.

As the weeks turned into months and the months into years they began to realize that they were becoming something rare in today's musical landscape - an original band

No covers. That's the rule of Sadie's Rangers. Every one in the band has to bring their own songs. They work them out together and what comes out is a truly original sound.

Featuring Ronnie Fleming on mandocello, mandola and vocals, Gary Wayne Thomason on guitar and vocals, Casey Clark on guitar and vocals, Brad Van Valkenberg on mandolin and vocals, Rick Faucett on dobro and vocals and Buddy Squyres  on Bass.   Sadie's Rangers defy definition. Their sound ranges from bluegrass to blues, rock to country, and traditional to modern Americana.  The band is currently working on their 2nd CD.

Mike Fuller remains our station's favorite prodigal son. Former Music Director of High Plains Public Radio, and host of High Plains Morning (2010-2015), he has returned to HPPR with a new show called What The Folk?—a signature mix of folk, roots, Americana, and more—woven together by a unifying theme. Tune in every Saturday night at 7pm CT for a two-hour mix that could only come from the man himself.
