This Saturday, Brick & Elm presents Hayden Pedigo in concert for a hometown performance to wrap up what the musician calls “easily the most insane year of [his] life.” Tickets for Saturday’s show at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts are just $15, and we believe young and old music fans alike will enjoy his cinematic, melodic fingerstyle approach to guitar.

This year, Pedigo released a critically acclaimed album, opened on tour for Jenny Lewis, recorded an NPR Tiny Desk concert, and made plans for additional tours in 2024—including a stint in Europe.

In that interview, Pedigo explained why he opens and closes his shows all over the United States by telling people he’s from Amarillo, Texas: “No one cares if you’re from Austin, Nashville or L.A. Genuinely, no one cares. But when you tell somebody you’re from Amarillo, Texas, there’s power in that. That’s an identity,” he says. “I wear it as a badge of honor.”
