Late rock-and-roll legend Joe Cocker’s Colorado ranch will go to auction on September first, reports The Denver Post.
Mad Dog Ranch sits in Colorado’s Western Slope ranch country,70 miles southeast of Grand Junction. Cocker and his wife Pam called the ranch home for two decades. The 240-acre property contains a 16,000-square-foot English Tudor mansion built in 1994. Joe Cocker was raised in Sheffield, England, but proudly called Colorado home in his later years. Many would be surprised to find out that the hard-partying crooner tended heirloom tomatoes at the Mad Dog Ranch.
Cocker, who died two years ago, famously performed at Woodstock. He was known for such hits as “You Are So Beautiful” and his rendition of the Beatles’ “With a Little Help from My Friends.”
