KZNA-FM 90.5 serving northwest Kansas is operating at just 10% power using a back up transmitter while work continues to install a new transmitter. It is hoped that this work will completed on Thursday with KZNA back to its full 100,000 watts of power with a state of the art transmitter to serve the area for many years to come.
If you can't receive KZNA at its reduced power, you can listen via the digital stream directly above or on the HPPR mobile app. For questions please contact station staff at (800) 678-7444 or by emailing hppr@hppr.org

Kansa-lyst: Interview with Phil Ehart, Co-founder & Drummer for Kansas

Don't miss my interview with co-founder and drummer for Kansas, Phil Ehart. We talk about touring, keeping a the music fresh after 40+ years, and he attempts to answer a question I've had for years: "What the heck IS 'prog rock?'" [Spoiler alert: He's not quite sure.]

This grown-up garage band from Topeka celebrates 40 years of their hit album Leftoverture with a US tour. They'll play Dodge City, KS on Friday, October 20th at United Wireless Arena.

Want to hear 18 minutes of unedited conversation between Phil and Jenny? Okay then.

Jenny Inzerillo joined HPPR in 2015 as the host of High Plains Morning, our live music program that airs weekdays at 9 am to noon CST.
