"Goodnight Under the Stars" Honors the Historic Ranch with Live Music: Interview with Glen Spiller

Glen Spiller of the Armstrong County Museum stopped by High Plains Morning for a chat about their annual event this Saturday, "Goodnight Under the Stars" in Goodnight, Texas. It features live music by Jody Nix & Jake Hooker.

There's a lot of history in the Texas Panhandle, and some of the key names that surface when discussing this place are Charles & Molly Goodnight. This week, High Plains Morning welcomed Glen Spiller into the studio. He represents the Armstrong County Museum in Goodnight, Texas, and they're holding their annual community event this weekend, Saturday, August 21st. It's called "Goodnight Under the Stars," and it runs from 5:00 pm until midnight CT to help kick up some support for the museum. This year, the party features live performances from Jody Nix and Jake Hooker, both of whom are Western Swing royalty in this region. Click herefor all the details and ticket information. Also, don't miss Glen Spiller, live on Western Swing Radio Ramblerwith David Waddle, this Saturday around 2pm CT. It turns out that this man is one heck of a fiddle player, too!
