KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is among the top names being considered for Agriculture Secretary in the event that Hillary Clinton wins the presidency.

As Politico reports, the beermaker and petroleum geologist turned governor is in the top five names on the list of potential candidates. The list also includes Blanche Lincoln, a former Arkansas senator; Kathleen Merrigan, the former deputy secretary of agriculture; Karen Ross, the current agriculture secretary of California; and Steve Beshear, the former governor of Kentucky. Sources warned that the list of candidates remains fluid two and a half weeks before the election. The list of names could change according to the makeup of the rest of the cabinet. Clinton has pledged that half of her cabinet will be women. Agriculture experts are predicting the position will go to Karen Ross. As head of California's Department of Food and Agriculture, Ross oversees the state with the biggest farming operation in the U.S.
