KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Brother T-Bone (Tony Hornberger)

Host, Friday Night Blues

For more than 24 years, HPPR has been feelin' blue every Friday night from 8 pm to midnight CT, thanks to Brother T-Bone (Tony Hornberger) and Friday Night Blues. He motors in from his hometown of Dodge City, KS to share his passion and love of the blues with loyal listeners across the High Plains. T-Bone continues the tradition of HPPR's dedication to keeping a regional blues show on the air since the early days of HPPR. (Who remembers Uncle Jack and Brother Pat?) "I believe we have the longest running blues show that's broadcast out of the state of Kansas," Tony says. And listeners, rest assured that this guy does his show live, so call in your requests if there's a song you really want to hear. The landline at HPPR Studios in Garden City, KS is 1.800.678-7444. Stay blue, High Plalins!
