Today we meet Adam Snow, an IT professional and multi-instrumentalist from the Texas Panhandle who’s hosting a Worldwide Didgeridoo Meditation on Wednesday, March 20th in Spearman, TX. This is a global celebration of the changing of the seasons, so he has four per year. Thankfully, Adam brought both of his didgeridoos today, but he also demonstrated some of his other favorite music makers: a Native American flute (with a hand-carved bird-of-prey “fetish” perched atop the instrument), his singing bowls with two different mallets, and his own voice which he’s been training to “throat sing” like a Tuvan monk. Check out the meditation, which takes place at the change of every season. Tomorrow’s event is at Hansford Manor, located at 707 S Roland St. in Spearman, TX. Adam also participates in the Amarillo Wind Ensemble, which will have a performance on April 7th at Church at Quail Creek , located at 801 Tascosa Rd. in Amarillo. The show starts at 7:00 pm.
