Angela Haflich

Director of Regional Content

Angie is a journalist with five years of experience reporting local news.

Having covered a wide variety of news topics with the Garden City Telegram, Angie was ready to take the next step in her media career and in October of 2016, began in her role as the regional content director with High Plains Public Radio, where she has drawn upon her reporting experience to deliver news and features to HPPR’s listeners and online readers.

Angie is a native of Garden City, but lived in Wichita for seven years and Denver, Colo. for 14 years, prior to returning to Garden City in 2010. In her spare time, Angie enjoys taking road trips to see friends, going to concerts, listening to any and all kinds of music, working out, watching baseball and football games with her dad, hanging out with her mom, and walking her three dogs. Or just binge watching something on Netflix.
