Clifton Butt

Clifton Butt was born in Amarillo, Texas, but grew up in Clayton, New Mexico. He earned a BA in English from New Mexico State University. Like many English majors, he found himself teaching, first in Leoti, Kansas, and now in Amarillo, Texas where he tortures many Tascosa High School students with a barrage of poems, short stories, and novels. In return, they make many jokes about his last name.
