New York Philharmonic This Week

Sundays at 1:00 pm CT on High Plains Public Radio
  • Hosted by Alec Baldwin

Hosted by Alec Baldwin, this show is one of WFMT Radio Network's best. All 52 weekly two-hour broadcasts will be taken from the Orchestra's entire subscription season, and will be interspersed with programs taken from the Philharmonic's international tours, their Summertime Classics Series, their residency at Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival in Colorado, as well as their extensive library of commercial and archival recordings. This gives music lovers the opportunity to hear this magnificent and highly successful orchestra each week.

This program will indeed be missed on the High Plains, but there’s a bright side: new shows on the schedule! Here’s how HPPR will be switching things up for September and beyond, so mark your calendars:

Saturdays:
