KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR Mix service or HPPR Connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

New Episode of "Classical Music Amarillo" Airs This Sunday at 12p CT

Don't miss the latest episode of Classical Music Amarillo, the new regional music program on HPPR, hosted by Stephen Johnson. Showcasing the talent of the classical music community in the Yellow City, new shows air on Sundays at 12p CT; an encore presentation can be heard on Thursday night at 7p CT.

On this week's episode of Classical Music Amarillo, the Amarillo Symphony takes center stage this week with a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No.6 (The Pastoral). We'll also hear the world debut of former composer in residence Chris Rogerson's “The Way Through.”

As the host of Open Range, Steve Johnson brings a lifetime of hearing and performing a wide variety of music to this unique program.
