High Plains Morning wants to thank all four of the gentlemen of Che Apalache for stopping into the studio for a live set today. This four-man string band is on tour now throughout the US, and they're playing in Amarillo TONIGHT at Teckla House (2501 Teckla Blvd) in Amarillo, TX). For a full event listing, click here.
Based in Argentina, they began as a bluegrass band, but eventually incorporated Latin American styles into their repetoire. Combining instrumental prowess with tight vocal harmonies, they have created an authentic blend of genres to reflect the nature of their lives.
Bring a blanket, some beverages, and friends to enjoy this backyard show, live on the High Plains! There is a $10 suggested donation at the door, but all are welcome.

If you missed the in-studio performance, listen to it here!
Also, we talked them into doing a station identification clip for us...and it's GREAT.

If you couldn't make it to the show, I snagged a couple of clips! Here's thefirst one, an acapella gospel gem captured before the sun set—and here's the second one, a Japanese folk tune, obvioulsy as we were losing the sun.
