High Plains Public Radio & the Amarillo Art Institute present the 4th Annual Chase the Sunset: Art & Music in Palo Duro Canyon!
On Saturday, August 10th, HPPR & AAI invite kids of the High Plains to CHASE THE SUNSET with a celebration of art, music, & nature to bid the summer a final farewell.
From 6:00 to 9:30 p.m., kids can enjoy a variety of fun activities to spark their creativity and curiosity, including a nature walk through the canyon, painting, drawing, ceramics, make-your-own jewelry, nature trivia, face painting, fingernail art, & more! At sunset, we’ll bust out the blankets, relax with snacks, and get down to live cowboy music & poetry from Amarillo's own Rick Todd, welcoming the moon and stars. Plus, kids might get a glow-in-the-dark surprise!
So join us in the Palo Duro Canyon to bid the summer farewell! Come CHASE THE SUNSET with High Plains Public Radio & the Amarillo Art Institute.
