"Laugh. Laughter is immeasurable. Be joyful though you have considered all the facts...” ? Wendell Berry
These words have served as an inspiration for Panhandle native, author, poet, and educator, Seth Wieck. I know this because he was kind enough to stop by High Plains Morning today with Dr. Eric Meljac of the High Plains Poetry Project & WTAMU. They'll host a reading featuring Seth and his work this Thursday, June 20th at Burrowing Owl Books (419 16th St.) in Canyon, TX. The reading starts at 7p CT, but it's wise to arrive at 6:30p to get a seat. Plus, he'll have exclusive access to his new book, To the Exiles, available only at Burrowing Owl.
