KJJP-FM 105.7 FM serving Amarillo/Canyon and the central Texas Panhandle will be off the air on Monday from about 7am until 3pm. This shutdown is required while repairs are made to guy wires on the Channel 10 tower used by KJJP. On Sunday, May 4, 2025, book leaders and contributors from the HPPR Radio Readers Book Club came together in Garden City, KS, for a two-hour, live on-air discussion of the novel, a travelogue, a memoir, and a comic blog explored with an impressive array of Radio Reader BookBytes this season. Book Leaders included Charles Forrest Jones (Lawrence KS & Crede CO); Bob Seay (Lamar, CO); Tito Aznar (Goodwell, OK); Julie Sellers (Atchison & the Flint Hills of Kansas); and Matt Kliewer (Austin TX).
