Come one, come all to the Great Plains Renaissance Festival -- no time machine required!

Jousts and jests, knights and knaves, bagpipes and blacksmiths, fire breathers, pirates, fairies and more will be on site for two days of celebration. HUZZAH!

Younger time travelers can meet the king and queen, play games, get their faces painted and join in activities throughout the festival.

Come hungry: festival fare includes turkey legs, mead, grog and other eats and drinks fit for a day of wandering the kingdom.

The show goes on rain or shine!

Pratt Community College alumni Kelley Elder will portray Mark Twain, famed American author of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,” and “Live on the Mississippi” from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27 in Carpenter Auditorium.

Join the Pratt Community Concert Series for a rip-roaring 70’s house party on a Saturday night in 1979 featuring piano, drums, guitar, bass and vocals.

Jim and his friends have been practicing for the talent show at school and are ready to perform hits like “Midnight At The Oasis,”  “Bad Bad Leroy Brown,” “Killing Me Softly,” “Tie A Yellow Ribbon,” and many, many more!
