Join us for the opening of the Catrina Dress Exhibit at Arts in the Sunset at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4.

This FREE exhibition brings together a collection of Catrina dresses and costumes from the Adult and Kids Catrina Costume Contests featured during the past three years of the Día de Muertos Festival of Amarillo.

See up close the creativity, craftsmanship, and tradition behind some of the Catrinas that have taken the stage at the festival, from elaborate adult designs to imaginative creations worn by our youngest Catrinas.

The exhibit opens Friday, September 4 and will remain on display through Friday, October 9.

Come celebrate the artistry of La Catrina and revisit three years of Día de Muertos Festival memories.

Join the Pratt Community Concert Series for a rip-roaring 70’s house party on a Saturday night in 1979 featuring piano, drums, guitar, bass and vocals.

Jim and his friends have been practicing for the talent show at school and are ready to perform hits like “Midnight At The Oasis,”  “Bad Bad Leroy Brown,” “Killing Me Softly,” “Tie A Yellow Ribbon,” and many, many more!

Community concert season-ticket holders, and members of the Southwest Kansas Community Concert Series, get to enjoy reciprocal tickets to the full schedule of shows this 2026/2027 season at Pratt, Hutchinson, Great Bend and Liberal. Consider becoming a member!

"Needles & Hooks" — Fiber Arts Club. Open to all who use a needle or hook to create! We invite embroiders, needle felters, quilters, crocheters, knitters, needlepoint artists, etc. Starting February 2026, this club will meet on the first Thursday of each month from 6–8PM at the Prairie Museum Library.
