The Depot Theater proudly presents the production of 'Clue', the hilarious who-done-it comedy. The doors open at 6:00pm and 1:00pm on Sunday. You can get tickets online at www.depottheater.com. You can also purchase a meal ticket to have before the show and there will be a bar for refreshments. Come spend an evening or afternoon with great food, and outstanding entertainment. Join us for the opening of the Catrina Dress Exhibit at Arts in the Sunset at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4.
This FREE exhibition brings together a collection of Catrina dresses and costumes from the Adult and Kids Catrina Costume Contests featured during the past three years of the Día de Muertos Festival of Amarillo.
See up close the creativity, craftsmanship, and tradition behind some of the Catrinas that have taken the stage at the festival, from elaborate adult designs to imaginative creations worn by our youngest Catrinas.
The exhibit opens Friday, September 4 and will remain on display through Friday, October 9.
Come celebrate the artistry of La Catrina and revisit three years of Día de Muertos Festival memories.

Girls Who Science is a FREE program that includes conversations, presentations, and Q&A's with esteemed women professionals in the STEM industry.
This program is intended to inspire girls ages 8-18 to pursue a career in STEM, but family and other interested community members are also welcome to attend!
Following the presentation and Q&A, the center will provide a half hour, hands-on learning activity to match our speakers' topic of study. This particular activity is for Girls Who Science club members only.
Girls who Science coincides with Free First Mondays, so the whole family can join in and explore the center's immersive exhibits!
Drop off policy: -Drop off will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 5 p.m. -All participants will need to sign in prior to the program starting-All participants need to provide an emergency contact name and phone number- Participants under the age of 14 will require a guardian signature if being dropped off

First Presbyterian Church invites the public to a concert featuring world-renowned British organist Roger Sayer as he begins his 2026 world tour here in Amarillo. Sayer recorded Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for the 2014 production of the science fiction movie “Interstellar” produced by Sir Christopher Edward Nolan.

Two performances are scheduled on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 5 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 or $15 for students with valid ID and are available at the church’s web site: https://firstpres.com/
This Interstellar 10 program is Sayer’s solo rendition of the soundtrack. His program includes additional other-worldly works by Richard Strauss and The Planets Suite by Gustav Holst. According to Norman Goad, church music director and organist, “the performances promise to connect us to the cosmos when performed on our organ – now one of the 50 largest organs in the world, including enhanced digital capabilities and with special lighting effects.”
This October 06 concert occurs during World Space Week, declared by the United Nations and is the largest annual space event on Earth. Celebrated internationally from October 4–10, it highlights the contributions of space science and technology to the betterment of human life and aims to inspire students and to engage the general public. This concert is an official event in this international observation.
