The Stars at Night: Texas Outdoor Musical Opens TONIGHT!

This weekend,“TEXAS Outdoor Musical” makes its 2019 debut. To make sure everyone knew it, Matt McComas and Dave Yirak stopped by High Plains Morning on Thursday to share some updates to the script, as well as some history about this legendary show.

The show, which can onlly be described as a "spectacle," has its first performance of the season is TONIGHT, Saturday, June 1, at 8:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Amphitheater in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. More information about this classic production in its 54th season can be found here.

And this just in: On Thursday, July 4, High Plains Public Radio will air a live-recorded production of the 2019 “TEXAS Outdoor Musical.” In fact, we’re so excited about this special programming for the Fourth that it will be broadcast twice: 9 a.m. CT, with an encore airing at 7 p.m. CT. Please mark your calendars to be a part of this Lone Star State gem.
