Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. Palo Duro Canyon ranked America’s best state park

Palo Duro Canyon is No. 1 on Fodor’s America’s 10 Best State Parks reported the Amarillo Globe-News.

“For our America’s 10 Best State Parks, we wanted to highlight locales that don’t receive as much attention as marquee national parks,” said Michael Connelly, editor of Fodors.com. “Because it contains the second-largest canyon in the U.S. — second only to the Grand Canyon — Palo Duro Canyon State Park was a natural fit for our list.

“Due to its size and awe-inspiring scenery, it’s one of the most — if not the most — majestic state parks in the entire country.”
