KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. This week, Luke talks about the trusty old lever action 30-30 and how he has recently replaced a scope on his rifle with a quality Williams peep sight.

Thanks to eye surgery a little over a year ago, Luke can again see well enough to shoot iron sights, possibly as well as when he was a teenager.

Chances are very good you still have an old lever gun in your gun cabinet. Consider breaking it out and putting it to use. Regardless of all the bashing
