DON'T MISS Kelly Hunt, live on the High Plains, with Sara Morgan (Kansas City), as they team up for their folk duo, "Of a Feather." They'll be at Boot Hill Distillery at 8 p.m. CT THURSDAY night, Sept. 24.

Plus, they'll be LIVE ON AIR on "High Plains Morning" on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. CT.

Kelly Hunt premiered the final single from her forthcoming album "Requiem for a Sleepless Night," produced by Dirk Powell (Joan Baez, Rhiannon Giddens, Eric Clapton), September 18 on Compass Records.

Meet Amber Starbuck, author of "Ramblings of Grief," from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Barnes and Noble Bookstore in Amarillo's Westgate Mall.

Don't miss the first fall concert of the Fort Hays State University Music and Theatre season, featuring beautiful compositions by 18th Century Flute Master J. J. Quantz.

This FREE and unique performance highlights flutists Hilary Shepard and Mel Sauer, the best of the Hays Symphony string sections, inside the warm and resonant space of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Every day, a service dog team is wrongfully denied access to a public space, even though this right is federally protected by the ADA.

We will enjoy an evening of connection, refreshments, real stories from service dog handlers, and a short practical training on welcoming service dog teams in our community.

Service dog handlers, business owners, and neighbors are all welcome to our event. Together, we can build a community where service animal teams are respected, included, and welcomed everywhere.
